Annyeonghaseyo Korea!
I know I`m still way behind time, writing about Korea and actually being already in Hanoi, Vietnam. However doesn`t matter right? :D
I arrived with the ferry in Busan and stayed in the Haeundae area which was very nice, with a beautiful beach lovely market and vivid nightlife.
Haeundae Beach
It looks sunny but it wasn`t that warm!
I visited the Busan museum of modern art, with numerous interesting pieces of art.
"Holy WiFi" hahaha.
Fragility

"I em so intallecktual." ( That's my personal title ;D)
As I already mentioned Haeundae had an busy nightlife, where I discovered beer-pong, here a very fancy version. ;)

I had the chance to train with Master Kim in Busan, it was a great experience! We also went to a traditional korean restaurant and had a delicious dinner, thanks again! :D
Before leaving Busan I went up the Lotte Mall and had a view over Busan, which was really beautiful, with a VERY romantic athmosphere, koreans really love romantic couple stuff with blinking hearts and lights and everything, haha :D
I took an overnight-ferry to Jeju Island, a paradise-like island in the south of Korea, arriving there at dawn.
In a lovely B&B I met two wonderful mexican friends from Busan again, David and Eduardo and together with Jorke from Finland we discovered a small island in the south of Jeju by bicycle.
Eduardo took this nice picture, and wrote a text for it:
They rode their bicycles, the four of them. at the top of a pyramid, they rested, and it was here where they mocked the wind. she possessed a beautiful post apocalyptic vision. the island of mysterious energy took them in, and no one ever saw them again...
Please take a seat and enjoy..
With nice company everything is much more fun! :D
Crater of a volcano

Another 2 brilliant photographies made by Eduardo
Next day we visited a stone park near Jeju-si, the biggest city of Jeju
A bassin on top of the stone museum
Pottery in the stone park
Next day we walked through a forest which turned out to be quite a bit bigger than we thought, about 9 times :D But still very beautiful, with different kinds of trees and sceneries.
For Eduardo's haiku project I had to write a small poem with first 5 then 7 and again 5 syllables, together with a portrait.
"I love Taekwondo
what you give is what you get
so be nice and kind"
Back in Jeju-si there was a fench film festival with a pretty delicious apero.
(Funny side story: since me and my friends don't look asian and we were with a couple of other people the only ones who didn't, everyone automatically assumed were french and as koreans looove to take pictures,(especially selfies) we were superstars for 10 minutes. That was just as long as the apero itself was really going on, after taking pictures and eating the food everyone left already, haha they don't really know apero culture ;D)
....buuut they definetly know how to make great food!! mjammi
Jeju-si from above
With Sungho from Korea I went to a railbike through a nice park, it even had cows! ( Yey hani gad heimweh:))
Lava Cave
At last Sungho and me were trying hard to find our way through a maze, it took us one hour to ring the bell :D haha!
Delicious Jeju style korean barbeque I LOVE IT.
Much love
Valerie
