London last part

Hey folks! I'm actually already in Zürich but I've got still loads of things to share with you!
Here you go, welcome back on my blog, glad you're here!

Starting off with showing you some of my friends I met there, above from left to right you can see Estelle from Switzerland (french part), Raquel from Spain and me.

Here on the very right, in front of me is Ilaria, Andrea in the middle and Hans behind him, all lovely people from Milan (I got to know many many italian people! :D) and on the right again Raquel and Estelle.

This is where I lived, Fairbridgeroad near Archway in the north of London.

At the Barbican I visited two exhibitions, one about Jean Paul Gaultier and one called Digital Revolution.

Digital Revolution

I was lucky being in London when the Notting Hill Carneval took place, I had a blast, even though the weather wasn't brilliant! ;)

My other italian friends, Carlo, Giacomo, Me and Giulia, they
are hilarious!

Accompanied by Hans and Ilaria I went to the Saatchi Gallery with various interesting artworks and artists.

__________

The italian boys cooking dinner for me, delicious!!
Pasta of course! ;)
I couldn't wait for my brother Jonas to come and visit me, we were at the "Brasserie Valerie" just because the name sounded very promising :-P

He obviously loves cream, so of course he was being silly :D

I was very sad when I had to say goodbye to Ilaria and Hans, my amazing friends from Milan, but we had a wonderful time and spent the last evening at the "Love Festival" which looked very beautful and had a nice athmosphere.

__________

Sunday I was at Bricklane, one of my favourite places in London
with my Brother.

____________

Giulia and me were on Trafalguar Square near the national gallery where we saw this brilliant blue cockerel.

The same day we walked through the stunningly beautiful St. James's Park and got to see a wonderful sunset.

We certainly had to have a look at Buckingham Palace, or here the Victoria Memorial.

_______________

Since I love the theatre, Giulia and me went to see one, which my english-teacher recommended me, called "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" and it was simply brilliant!!
I loved the scenery, the acting, the special effects and the beautiful old theatre!

________

I had a great time training at the Wapping Taekwondo club, meeting very nice people like Helen Campell on the very right who gave me the chance to train at her school.

________

On my last Weekend I went to Sushisamba on top of the Heron tower with an overwhelming view over London and some fabulous installations.

So that's probably all for now about my time in London, as I already mentioned i had a really great time and I have met so many wonderful and interesting people and always being busy with seeing and learning new things, it was just absolutely amazing!!
Thanks for enjoying this time with me and being a part of it!!

Soon you will hear something about Rhodos, my Taekwondo Camp in Greece!!
Lots of Love

London Part 2

Hi there! Here I am again, I will just continue showing you pictures from my first weeks in London just to complete my last post. Nice to welcome you again at my blog! :)
The same day I was at the fashion museum I also went to the Tate Modern , an modern art gallery next to the Themse, where I catched this lovely sunset.

From a Platform at the Tate Modern I had a impressive view over London and the Millennium Bridge, which is famous for appearing in a Harry Potter movie ;)

Here just some artwork I liked partcularly: here from Sergio de Camargo "Large Split Relief"

Buildings near Bank
Again on the Millennium Bridge

On the following Sunday I went to a park called Hampstead Heath which is a really beautiful park, huge and with lots of open spaces.

We went to that wonderful location which was a pub/Restaurant and I assume it used to be a theatre because the room was huge and decorated like an old theatre.
I got to know wonderful people in my afternoonclass, right here we were eating together in a mexican rastaurant.

Since I am a good  tourist I had to visit the Big Ben and the London Eye, which do look very nice at night.

As you may know I can't do without taekwondo and that's why I was looking for a school were I could train during my stay  in London and I was lucky to find a brilliant school named Wapping Taekwondo with very helpful and superkind people. The taekwondo itself is quite different to what i'm used to in many ways, but it was really interesting to see how different schools practice taekwondo.
